Our History
The history of Vane Brothers is the story of four generations of Maryland Eastern Shoremen who first came to Baltimore under the sails of the Chesapeake Bay's magnificent schooners. Driven by entrepreneurial energies and keen business instincts, these first schoonermen established a small chandlery in Fell's Point in 1898. Today, over a hundred years later, The Vane Brothers Company sweeps across Baltimore, Norfolk and Philadelphia.
