Vane Brothers Opens New Office in New York
Vane Brothers announces the opening of a new office in Brooklyn, New York. Newly named Port Captain John M. Bowie is establishing Vane’s presence in New York to enhance service and outreach. Bowie will be responsible for ensuring that we deliver reliable service to our customers, that our vessels are properly staffed and maintained, and that our employees are provided with a safe working environment.

Notes from the Shipyard
In 2009 Vane Brothers retired the VB-53, Doris Hamlin and Patriot, and we welcomed the Anacostia, Elk River, Severn, Susquehanna, DS-502 and DS-504. In 2010 we will add the Charles Burton, Quantico Creek, DS-506 and DS-508 to our fleet.
