Carlyn

Vane purchased the Carlyn and Willkate in 1986 from the Broadway Meat Company, owners of Marine Launch, a subsidiary and local distributor of ships’ stores and lubricating oils.  Broadway Meat was owned by Baltimorean's William Frick and his sons, Roy and George.

Built in 1968, the Carlyn measures 58’ long, 21’ wide, and 7.5’ deep.  She delivers stores and marine lubricants to customers in the Port of Baltimore, and at times, serves as a crew boat and dive platform.  The Carlyn is named for the wife of previous owner, Roy Frick.
