Endeavor
Built in Bayou Blue, Louisiana, by Main Iron Works in 1970, Vane acquired the Endeavor from Maritrans, Inc. in 1999. An ABS Load Line vessel, she is powered by twin Caterpillar D399 main engines, generating approximately 2200 horsepower. She is 195 gross tons with two 60KW generators driven with Detroit Diesel engines. Her towing machine is an Almon Johnson Model 232 coupled with a 4-71 Detroit Diesel. Her push winches are Wintech 60-ton low profile series hydraulic winches.
