The Charles Burton is one of the newest members of the Vane Brothers fleet. An 1800 horsepower ocean-going tug, she is seen here crossing under the Walt Whitman Bridge in Philadelphia. The Charles Burton makes regular ocean runs between Boston, New York and Norfolk, Virginia. She is named for the youngest son of the Company’s President, Charlie Hughes.
